Battery Service FAQ

What is your current turnaround time?

We are currently quoting 2 weeks for standard battery refurbishment. If we foresee any delays we will let you know as soon as possible.

 

Does the cost of repair include postage? 

Yes, and this will save you a ton of money and hassle. Lithium batteries above a certain threshold cannot legally be shipped in the US except under very specific conditions. When you place an order, we send out a DOT approved shipping container for retrieval of your battery. The shipping has been pre-paid so that you can simply drop it off at any UPS location. 

 

What do I need to include with my battery when I send it in?

We request that you send us a) the battery, b) the key if it's necessary to turn on the battery, and c) your charger so that we can perform a full diagnostic.

 

Why don't I see my battery in your list?

There are over 400 e-bike brands out there, so your brand might not be on our list yet. Send us a brief note and a couple of photos via this contact us page. We will consult the manufacturer's specs and can get back to you with a quote.

 

Are there manufacturer's batteries you do not service?

Due to the proprietary nature of their hardware/software we are unable to refurbish the following brands batteries: Bionx, Bosch, Shimano, Specialized and Yamaha.

 

What is the warranty period on your battery services?

We guarantee our battery services to be free from manufacturer defects for 1 year.
